Try to find out if you are on a subnet of kabel BW.
Try to find it out with the program "tracert" on Windows or "traceroute" on Linux. (simply type into the command window)
Nik
I did it but I don't know what you mean if I am on a sub net of KabelBw
This is my route trace.
Code:
jd@goy:~$ traceroute [url=http://www.infinity.net.pl]www.infinity.net.pl[/url]
traceroute to [url=http://www.infinity.net.pl]www.infinity.net.pl[/url] (193.108.229.3), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets

Check if you have enabled pinging on the router and/or Firewall.
Nik
I don't know how to check it on the Cable modem i got. This is not a router and I have no access to it. I need a special/technical password to have possibilities for any changes. I have already tried this.
My PC is connected to modem and modem is connected to some server, switch or router on KableBW side. On this router someone must forward port request to my PC. You mentioned about it later in point 5.

Ckeck your firewall (on router and PC) if the port 21 (ftp) is open.
Nik
I am sure FTP is open on my PC.
Nik.
Whom shall i ask about this problem? KabelBW service don't want to accept this as a problem and KabelBw hot line has no idea what I am talking about. Are U KabelBw user as well? Did you try set up FTP server on your side?
Thank you again for your comments and I am looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards
Jacek
