Thanks for detailed reply. I wanted to shift to Kabel BW from Telekom in April.
With T-Kom I am using call by call for calls to India & also recently I started using VOIP thru Router(Speedport W701V) using SIP settings of VOIP provider(Actionvoip). I only want to be sure that with KabelBW I should able to use VOIP calls to India in same manner thru router using SIP settings as I have registered with VOIP provider(Actionvoip).
That is the reason I am asking here in Forum that Internet Telephony is possible thru router in KBW or not.

PS:What about Fritzbox 7170?
Yes, there's no problem using KabelBW for VoIP. As far as I know all ports are open, thus nothing is blocked.
The 7170 is ok, too. It depends on what need. The 7270 has a build-in DECT Base Station and a USB 2.0 connector. The 7170 "only" USB 1.1 and you have to connect the telephones via cable to the fritzbox.

I am relieved that I can use VOIP thru Router in KBW. Even I contacted the Technicians [img]images/smiles/013.gif[/img] in KBW, but they were not able to give satisfatcory replies
but with your & Wali´s reply Iam happy that I can use VOIP (as its very cheap 1ct per min for Landline as well as mobile to India)
Do you also use any VOIP Provider?
