Hello,
Ich bin kunden von Telekom und meine vertrag endet nachstes jahr mit T-kom. Ich möchte mit KabelBW wechseln.

Ich telefonieren viel zu Indien und jetzt benutze Call by call.

Weil call by call ist nicht moglich mit KBW [img]images/smiles/010.gif[/img] , Ich möchte Internet telefonie durch meine Router benutzen mit SIP konfiguration. Ich habe schön mit VOIP Anbieter anmeldet.Ist das moglich?

Ja das geht, brauchst bloß (beispielsweise) einen Router,
in den du den VoIP Anbieter einträgst.

Das sollte jedoch bei allen ISPs gehen (mal abgesehen von den Anbietern von UMTS Flats, wo das ja nicht so gern gesehen wird / verboten ist)

Ja, Telefon über VOIP Anbieter ist möglich.
Ich nutze selber einen, da mir das Telefon
über KBW zu unzuverlässig ist
(Mindestens 1mal im Monat einen Ausfall)

Internet ist von den Störungen seltener betroffen

Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Welche Router benutzen Sie? Weil Router von KBW(D-Link und Netgear) sind ohne Telefon Anschluss. Haben sie auch Ihrer Router für SIP settings Konfiguiret?
Kann Ich auch meine Router von T-Kom(Speedport W701V) benutzen?

Ich nutze eine FritzBox 7270, dort sind alle notwendiogen
Einstellungen möglich selbst bei Internetausfall bei KBW ist ein
Notbetrieb über UMTS Stick möglich. [img]images/smiles/003.gif[/img]
Mit der Horstbox (Notgerät) kämpfe ich noch mit den
VOIP-Einstellungen. Raus rufen geht, nur es kommen
keine Anrufe an.

Ich glaube mit dem T-Com Router klappt es nicht (Hab ich mal gelesen).

PS: Wenn FB dann würde ich heute die 7390 holen

Ich will mein Englisch hier keinem zumuten.

Also ich würd vorerst noch zur 7270 greifen, außer man braucht unbedingt die Features der 7390 (VDSL, 2 WLAN Netze, etc)

Was ich nämlich gelesen habe, ist, dass DECT Reichweite nicht so toll sein soll:

Gut, kann natürlich sein, dass das nur bei der ersten Serie so ist, aber grundsätzlich würde ich erstmal abwarten - auch in Bezug auf die Firmware, die ja schon bei der 7270 einige Zeit reifen musste

Which Router do you use?

I'm using the AVM FritzBox 7270.

I have to admit, that its neither perfect. The range in which a DECT telephone can be used in combination with the 7270 is less, compared to the original base station.

In addition to that the quality of conversation is not the best (via DECT):
sometimes noise, echo, etc if we make a call via the analogue line.
VoIP is much better, but not perfect.

It's not easy to determine, by what the problem is caused.

To make a long sentence short: You may get a problem, but as far as I know, most of the people, who use it, are satisfied.

Now the positive attributes:

- reboots are rarely, especially if you use the official firmware (and not the "Labor"-versions)
- many, many features - it does nearly everything (it's even capable to supply you with a beer [img]images/smiles/003.gif[/img] )
- nice and user friendly interface
- ...

In conclusion I would say that it has more positive than negative attributes. [img]images/smiles/006.gif[/img]

Thanks for detailed reply. I wanted to shift to Kabel BW from Telekom in April.
With T-Kom I am using call by call for calls to India & also recently I started using VOIP thru Router(Speedport W701V) using SIP settings of VOIP provider(Actionvoip). I only want to be sure that with KabelBW I should able to use VOIP calls to India in same manner thru router using SIP settings as I have registered with VOIP provider(Actionvoip).

That is the reason I am asking here in Forum that Internet Telephony is possible thru router in KBW or not.
